Biography

Nazuna Inuwaka (犬若なずな) is 13 years old and hails from Japan. As Akane’s younger sister, Nazuna is also a part of the clan that rivals Konoha’s. She originally approached Kamui in the past in order to become her ally but was refused, because of this she becomes upset at the sight of her and Konoha together. She fights using her three sacred weapons Tsumiko (her cane) Fusumi (her crow) and Hayate (her wolf). Her accompanying arcana is Kayatsuhime “The Flower” who has been worshipped as the Inuwaka clans protectors for many ages. Kayatsuhime controls growth and nutrient. She is voiced by Mai Hashiomoto (橋本まい)

Move list

Nazuna is supplemented by a power bar beneath her health bar known as the “Spirit Gauge”, some normal, special and super moves deplete spirit energy upon use. It regenerates naturally over time when out of combat akin to the homing gauge. If the bar is depleted completely (it will flash red) then it has 3 effects:

  • you cannot use any moves that require use of the spirit gauge
  • you cannot chain her normals into each other
  • you cannot use 28+A/B/C to recharge the spirit gauge manually

These effects last until the gauge recharges itself completely.

Certain special moves will charge her spirit gauge. With these moves, it is possible to charge the gauge beyond its normal amount. The gauge will turn orange and any moves that consume it will deal extra damage, until the gauge turns white again.


Throws


4/6AD: Hayate grabs the opponent by the ankles and tosses them behind Nazuna.

5AD: Nazuna launches the opponent with her 3C animation. It can be followed with either a homing cancel straight after or a jump and then a neutral homing cancel.

j.AD: Hayate performs his j.E animation and knocks the opponent to the ground. If close enough Nazuna can follow up with a homing cancel and combo the opponent off of the ground bounce.


Normal moves


5A: Nazuna jabs infront of her with her cane. 4 frame start up and short reach.

5B: Nazuna attacks low with her cane and then brings it upwards. Medium range reach on the first part and medium range with a fair horizontal hitbox when she swings her cane upwards.

5C: Nazuna throws her cane forward for multiple hits depending on range. Maximum hits 4.

5E: Hayate bites at the opponent, wall slams on hit. Can be charged to make it unblockable and confer arcana effects.

2A: Nazuna quickly jabs at the opponents feet. (S!AH2.6)Cannot be cancelled into itself.

2B: Nazuna strikes upwards with her cane. Air unblockable.

2C: A two part move Nazuna attacks the opponent with her cane, sweeping the opponents feet before bringing her cane to bear overhead. Medium~Long range.

2E: Hayate stands on his hind legs and headbutts the opponent. Air unblockable. Chargeable akin to 5E. When using Zillael the holy arcana, it reaches the zenith of its charge quicker. (5F?)

j.A: Nazuna jabs at her opponent in the air. Short range.

j.B: Nazuna swings her cane upwards in a large arc.

j.C: Nazuna swings her cane downwards in a large arc. Causes projectiles such as Partinias' love balls to dissappear when struck.

j.E: Hayate bites the opponent, knocking them to the floor.


Command Normals


6A: Nazuna throws her cane forward at the opponents feet. Looks similar to Tsuejutsu.Tamashiikyoku.

3A/B/C: Nazuna commands Fusubi to attack the enemy. The A version sends fusubi downwards at a 120 degree arc. B version propels him forward at 90 degrees and the C version strikes upwards at 45 degrees. This move can be cancelled into itself; for instance, 3A,3B would have Fusubi strike downwards towards the enemy and then strike forwards at them again at 90 degrees.

j.6B: Much like 6A, Nazuna throws her staff at a 100 degree angle infront of her.


Special Moves


Tsuejutsu.Makanna - 236+A/B/C: Nazuna throws her staff forward, when it reaches a certain distance she commands it to spin rapidly on the spot. The C version has Nazuna throw her staff up at a 45 degree angle. Causes X hits and X damage.

Tsuejutsu.Tamashiikyoku - 63214+A/B/C: A blockable command throw. Can be done only if Nazuna has less than maximum spirit gauge but cannot be used if the gauge is entirely depleted. On hit, it charges her spirit gauge. 2.6 ONLY: this attack can "grab" opponents on the ground.

Shishijutsu.Kagerou - 623+A/B/C: Hayate leaps forward, headbutting the opponent. Launches on hit. The height of Hayate's jump is determined by the strength of the button pressed. The C version of this move has an additional hit after Hayate's jump as he rolls into a ball which has a possibility of hitting the opponent on the way down. Deals X hits and X damage.

Torijutsu.Nuetori - 22+A/B/C: Commands Fusumi to stay in his current location. Drains the spirit gauge over time.

Torijutsu.Haitaka - 22+A/B/C: Commands Fusumi to follow Nazuna. After performing this move the spirit gauge no longer continues to drain.

Torijutsu.Azusayumi - 421+A/B/C: Nazuna commands Fusumi to fire a blue arrow at the opponent. Can be done in quick succession. Drains a small amount of the spirit gauge. Causes 1 hit for X damage. Can be used to hit an opponent on the floor who hasn't teched, which can then be followed by Tsuejutsu.Tamashiikyoku.

Reijutsu.Asatsuyu - 28+A/B/C: Nazuna sacrifices some of her life to charge her spirit gauge. You cannot use this move if Nazuna's spirit gauge depletes completely: you must wait for it to recharge on its own.

Shoukan.Ten Ookami - 641236+A: Summons a singular wolf infront of Nazuna. It runs forward, as soon as it is summoned and inflicts X hits for X damage.

Shoukan.Tama Usagi - 641236+B: Summons a singular rabbit infront of Nazuna. It hopes backwards towards the side opposite of where it was summoned. It can travel along 3 sides of the screen. It dissappears when it has traversed 3 sides of the screen or when it hits the opponent. Causes 1 hit for X damage.

Shoukan.Suzu Hachi - 641236+C: Summons a swarm of hornets in mid air infront of Nazuna. A short while after summoning they will rush forward. Inflicts X hits and X damage.


Super Moves


236+A+B: Much like Tsuejutsu.Makanna, Nazuna throws her staff forward and commands it to rotate. However the hit box of the staff becomes larger during this super and this move can be performed in the air. The end hit will launch the opponent up into the air if they are on the ground or to the ground if they are in the air. Deals X hits and X damage. Very punishable if the initial hit of the staff throw is blocked.

214+A+B:Fusumi rushes forward towards the opponent. If he isn't blocked the opponent is pushed to the wall and Hayate and Fusumi deal an arial combo to them whilst Nazuna watches on.

641236+A+B: This super summons (en masse) the animals of the corresponding button press. Pressing (holding?) A after you complete the input will result in the A version of 641236+X, whereas the B and C input correspond to their respective inputs aswell. Not pressing anything at all will result in the appearance of Suzu Hachi.


Critical Heart


632146+A+B {on hit} 424242424+A+B: Nazuna leaps at her opponent. Once the move connects input the 4242 sequence as this increases the moves damage and forces a negative status effect on the opponent. Both Nazuna and her opponent are sent flying, with a negative status effect, backwards towards opposite ends of the screen if the 4242 sequence is inputted incorrectly. Furthermore Nazuna's spirit gauge will be drained completely and will have to recharge. On the other hand if the sequence is inputted correctly Nazuna recovers with a full spirit bar and remains in place whilst the opponent flies backwards and is the only one affected with the negative status effect. The status effect prevents the afflicted from chaining moves together.
